About Me

I am a creative, ambitious game designer with a strong technical background, and focus on systems and narrative. I have worked on 5 successful AAA games and some unannounced work, leading multiple core features from conception to post-launch support. I am passionate about mentoring designers in the early stages of their careers, sharing my expertise to help them develop their skill sets.

When I’m not busy designing games, I’m usually playing them. I love games with a strong narrative and clever mechanics: RPGs and action games are always top of the list. Adventure and sports games are up there too, but I’m not big on shooters. I’ll let you win that CoD LAN party, but you’ll have a hard time on Rocket League!

Talk to me about movies, TV series, books, football and philosophy. Although I do love my time on the couch, I can also be found hiking up a mountain, bouldering at my local climbing centre or getting muddy during a game of five a side.
